All natural stones have inherent variation within each individual piece. Customer is made aware that "Marble & Granite" are a product of nature and, as such, are subject to natural variations in color, surface texture, spotting, chipping, pitting and fissures. The unpredictable characteristics are what add to the nature beauty of the stone. Any questions the customer may have regarding the acceptability of materials must be presented and resolved prior to fabrication & installation of the product. Sciarrino Marble, Granite and Tile Co. will not be responsible for material once the customer has approved it. The location of the seams at kitchen countertops may vary. Kitchen slab islands may have seems due to the various sizes. Honed granite and marble is more porous, and is more likely to stain.
